Official: Central African Republic mulls projects with Rosgeo
ST.PETERSBURG, Jun 15 (PRIME) -- The Central African Republic expects a visit by the representatives of Russian state geological exploration company Rosgeo in order to discuss new projects, Mineral Resources Minister Rufin Benam Beltoungou told PRIME on Wednesday.
"Cooperation with Russia is advancing in all spheres. Concerning mining, we are successful, several Russian companies have the right for mining in the Central African Republic," the official said.
He also said that Rosgeo earlier expressed interest in starting projects in the country. Sanctions have brought about some technical issues that the authorities plan to discuss with Rosgeo during a visit to Russia, Beltongou said.
